ÁLVARO VILLACAMPA
Co-founder · International Lawyer
Álvaro studied Law at KU Leuven in Belgium, where he also began his legal career working on matters with a strong European and international dimension. That early exposure shaped everything that followed: a strategic, cross-border approach to legal advice that goes beyond the immediate question to consider the broader consequences.
After returning to Spain, he co-founded EX24 Legal with his brother and built the firm from the ground up with a clear purpose — to help international clients establish themselves in Spain with confidence, structure and legal certainty.
Today, Álvaro advises private clients, investors and families on residence, wealth planning, real estate and cross-border legal matters. His approach is discreet, commercially minded and deeply personal: understanding not only the legal issue, but the life, the business and the family context behind it.
JUAN IGNACIO VILLACAMPA

Juan Ignacio began his career in the legal department of a US-based international telecommunications company, where he spent over a decade working on complex corporate and cross-border matters — ultimately serving as Head of Legal for four years until 2025.
That background gave him something rare in private legal practice: a first-hand understanding of how legal advice must function under real business pressure, across jurisdictions and always aligned with commercial objectives.
In 2013 he co-founded EX24 Legal alongside his brother Álvaro, bringing corporate-level legal thinking to private clients, investors and businesses operating in Spain. His approach is technical when precision is required, and always focused on outcomes, strategy and opportunity.
THE ORIGIN
EX24 Legal exists for clients whose lives, assets and decisions cannot be contained within a single jurisdiction.
In 2013, two brothers with complementary backgrounds in international law founded EX24 Legal with a clear conviction: sophisticated international clients—individuals, families, and investors—were being underserved by a legal market focused on local issues.
Álvaro had developed his career in Belgium, studying and practicing European law with a strong international dimension. Juan Ignacio had built his career within complex corporate legal environments, eventually becoming the general counsel of an international company headquartered in the United States.
Together, they created something neither could have built separately: a firm that combines the precision of corporate law with the personalized attention that private clients require.

EX24 Legal was built for international clients facing complex legal matters in Spain.

Every matter is handled with direct lawyer involvement, fluent communication in English and Spanish, and the strategic judgment required when legal decisions carry personal, financial and cross-border consequences.
